I've never waxed before. but when girls say it hurts really bad, how bad? and will it hurt every time you wax? this also goes for leg waxing and underarms. Also does hair need to be fully grown to get the waxing done right? or when its growing back again?sorry for the question, but I'm curious..LOL..

For bikini waxing they say that you need to let the hair grow for about 3 weeks before you get waxed so that the wax can grab on to the hairs properly and so you won't have weird patches. It hurts the first time you get it done but nothing you can't handle and it goes pretty quick. youll get use to it and the hairs grow back thinner and lighter and it feels baby smooth when you get it done also redness is normal. Just make sure you go to a professional place and you should be fine. Hope this helps :]

Another question..for bikini wax, does it wax all of it at once?or do they go back to finish waxing areas didnt come off?

Um they work top to bottom and do it in sections so that it won't be overly painful. but they'll get it all off in one session.

I dare you to try laser. Its not nearly as 'painful' as waxing in that area. And the results are much better. Especially since that area naturally has coarse hair. Also you can shave between sessions, the hair has to be shaved a day or two prior to laser treatment so you don't have to grow it out. I personally wouldn't wax my bikini again since laser.

It hurts, but it's tolerable. Take an OTC med for pain beforehand. I've even heard of girls putting Orajel on the area prior to waxing for a numbing effect. I haven't tried this, but I find it's not THAT bad. The results are worth the process!

Depends who does it too sometimes and some people are more sensitive then others.. Underarm wax isn't painful at all if done right and everything else as long as its done in small sections am correctly applied and removed you will be fine..

I do both at home my self. It can be done. You have to watch out for sensitive areas, but over all not so bad. The first few times I did my arms, I got over zealous, and I ended up taking off the top layer of skin. Which sucks, but it's not awful. I have not experienced fine hair growing back, and you do have to let the hair grow back for like 2 weeks or so before you can do it again. But yes, the first few times it does hurt. Under Arms and in the bikini area. But it is so nice right after the wax! If you have crazy sensitive skin, you can get ingrown hairs as well. I experienced this with ad without having a professional do it. Good luck, once you switch you will never go back to shaving.

Have to say I have never waxed my bikini area before. I've never needed it. I found that if you just trim it neatly in a pair of scissors you'll end up with a cute little patch (you can make your own designs too) You get no razor bumps or rash from the wax. Unless your bushy like a bear skip the waxing. Have your boyfriend help with the trim...make it fun. :)
