Hey all! I (finally) received my Hautelook order of the Crown Brush Infinity set synthetic 7 brush collection. I believe it was exclusively for Hautelook, so I was excited to grab them up! They're pretty much dupes for the Sigma Sigmax synthetic collection (the face and precision brushes). Note: I don't have the Sigmax collection, as I haven't had $120ish to spend on brushes. Living broke college kid status. However, in looking at the two collections, they look basically the same. I can't compare their softness or anything like that though.

The set is really fantastic. It comes with 3 face brushes (round kabuki, angled kabuki, tapered kabuki) and 4 precision brushes (round, angled, tapered, and flat). They're incredibly soft, and give me a flawless finish when buffing in foundation and concealer. This is pretty much the best my foundation and concealer application has ever looked! They do have the slightest smell to them, sort of plastic-y, but that could be from being in the packaging, and it's nothing overpowering. Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase!

Have any of you tried them? And can any of you compare them to the Sigma line of Kabuki brushes?

They are pretty much the same. I just bought them off the crown brush site, I have the set from sigma too.

Glad I decided to go for the Crown set then! I had been eyeing the Sigma set, but couldn't justify spending that money, and then saw these for 35 on Hautelook, it was so exciting =)

I got the same set when they were on Hautelook & I love them! Definitely blends out concealer wonderfully.

I was contemplating buying the sigma set, but if these are just as good, I wouldn't mind getting more for less!!
