I am a fair skinned African American woman and I have scars left on my back from back acne. How can I get rid of these? As of now I hate it so much I don't wear sundresses, halters, tanks...anything that would show off any skin. With warm weather approaching soon, I'd like to be able to show off my back this year!

If your hair touches your back and there is product in it that can effect bacne. Can you put it up at night. Anything you use on your face like exfoliators, clay masks, benzoyl peroxide, you can use on your back. If drug store stuff won't work maybe talk to a dr.

do not use facial products on your back thatll cause more break outs..neutrogena body wash does work fairly well. And for scars if you use a citrus like lemon juice which works best...mixed with sugar itll help lighten the marks and the sugar will work as an exfolient good luck -Esthetician Britt
