I woke up with a tiny cold sore forming on my nose. I just started a new job, my second day is monday. Anyone have any fast over the weekend remedys to stop it from getting worse or for it to go away?

Are you sure its a cold sore ive never heard of one being on your nose they are usually on your lips it could be a pimple try 2% cylisic acid I know its spelled wrong sorry or if it is a coldsore try herpacin l I think it has commercial s for it and sold at drugstores

If it is a cold sore try a Abreva & take lysine tablets. Maybe, try tree tea oil that is good for cold sores or pimples. Personally, I dislike Carmex for cold sores they tend to make mine worse :(

Yes it is a cold sore, early stages:( I have never had one on my nose before either. I read that in your twentys you get cold sores that just pop up out of nowhere

Using only Blistex doesn't help dry my cold sores, I use Campho Phenique and blistex together for better results.

Cold sores are the herpes simplex virus. Has nothing to do with age, has to do with whether or not you carry the virus.

Put ice on it for 10 minutes 4 times a day. Apply abreva on it and at night put tooth paste on it. Paste not gell. It will dry it up. Then put carmax on your lip to prevent bleeding and peeling .

If its still in the early stages, what I do, I wet a RED tipped match, no other color, and hold it on there for a little bit. it starts to burn and you know its working. afterwards I usually take the watch off, don't rinse, and cover with campho phenique. I do it a few times a day and it works miracles. it sounds weird, but it works for me.

How is it on the nose? Maybe it's a pimple. Try persa gel if its a pimple.... Upload a pic maybe we can help determine if its a cold sore or pimple

I use compeed cold sore patches which I find great. They're clear and easy to apply but best of all you can put makeup over them.
