Lovely

This is a very soft and luxurious brush but unfortunately it was too big for my eyes. Will work nice as an all over shade but I don't need another brush for that. I also tried using it to contour my nose but there was little color payoff and I had to apply more layers and it wasn't good for that for me either. But I can imagine many people loving this brush, its soft and great, just not something I need.

I wanted a small baby blender for blush and contour and don’t understand how this brush couldn’t blend anything out at all. Not powder (Surratt and Tom Ford blush & Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder contour), not cream (nude sticks or lipstick), not even liquid (Daniel Sandler watercolor. It literally smeared it and left an unblended mess. I was able to use it as a concealer and foundation brush but I already have a koyudo fu-pa03 that I love and other amazing koyudo brushes. Never thought this brand would let me down. Gave two stars because it’s very cute and soft, the handle is so pretty, but still brush is useless to me.

This new version has a bad reputation from the previous. If you ever heard this brush sheds and leaves streaks, that was the natural goat brush that is now discontinued. Beautylish and other sites need to mention that this is a new version. I had the previous brush and hated it because of streaks, shed like crazy and dried my skin. This new version DOES NOT SHED, DOESNT STREAK and is super soft and smooth, better than sigma, Mac and even better than the Koyudo and Hakuhodo brushes I have. Seriously I am in love.

Why isn't this popular?

I am very picky about concealers. Everyone raves about tarte shape tape, it's ok & YSL ones, meh... I'm more of a Cle De Peau and Nars Radiant creamy Concealer for under eyes and Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage for blemishes. I have the MAC concealer pallet with is fine... but this Surratt one is just amazing! Its far more superior than any of the ones I mentioned, never cakes, stays on all day. Yes is a bit stiff but it melts right away. If you have hollow under eyes, this brightens them up like nothing else! And the powder... maximized it... I love my Hourglass Diffused Light Powder but this is even better, I wish it could be purchased in a separate case. Definitely worth the money! I have the other Surreal Concealer from Surratt, this one obviously way is better.

Perfect buffing brush

This was my first purchase on beautylish, My brush arrived super fast they have great customer service! The bush is amazing, well made and feels so luxurious! I use it to buff my face after i applied all of my makeup..just like Wayne Goss suggested using the Sonia Fyza technique. Just use very little pressure in buffing motion with a tiny amount of translucent powder or no powder...It really makes your skin look flawless and airbrushed no matter what type of makeup you use and I also feel like it last longer too. I use liquid base with cream blush and powder contour and everything works out so well with this brush. Of course I've tried this technique with other brushes but this brush gave me the best effect with out disturbing my makeup like others and I cannot live with out it now. Easy to clean and holds it's shape. BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Beautylish!
