The Tom Ford 02 Cream Foundation brush is one of my top favorites. I have the original natural hair version which is amazing. The synthetic version isn’t worth the price IMO. Not even close to the original. There isn’t a synthetic brush worth this price point. They just don’t work as well.
This new version has a bad reputation from the previous. If you ever heard this brush sheds and leaves streaks, that was the natural goat brush that is now discontinued. Beautylish and other sites need to mention that this is a new version. I had the previous brush and hated it because of streaks, shed like crazy and dried my skin. This new version DOES NOT SHED, DOESNT STREAK and is super soft and smooth, better than sigma, Mac and even better than the Koyudo and Hakuhodo brushes I have. Seriously I am in love.
Temporary love
I absolutely loved this brush and it was my go to foundation. Always. I use full coverage foundation so maybe this was the problem but after the second wash it started losing bristles like crazy. So then I started drying it upside down so that water could not seep down into the glued area. Lost even more bristles. Now I never use it because I just have have a face full of white hairs from the brush. Still searching for a fabulous foundation brush that doesn’t fall apart after you wash it. Help!!!!
