Hello everyone !
This is my DIY Ombre hair tutorial using both the Loreal Feria Wild Ombre kit and the Revlon Frost and Glow highlighting kit.
First and foremost, my hair has not been dyed for several years, so I am doing this DIY ombre hair tutorial on fresh hair. I think that this is very important to consider because this will change the outcome of your ombre hair. I used two days to complete this ombre hair tutorial, but you can do everything in one.
Day 1
To begin, I mixed up all of the contents of the Loreal Feria Wild Ombre hair kit in medium to dark brown hair. I then began to put the mixture on the ends of my hair using the comb that came with the box. I repeated in the other side as well and left on for thirty minutes (because I was being a chicken and didnt go for the 45).
Day 2
After realizing I want more blonde in my ombre, I purchased the Revlon Frost & Glow highlighting kit for blonde to light brown hair. I used the same process as before to achieve my ombre hair, but this time left it on for about 40 minutes, and used a comb to tease the part of my hair where the hair dye and undyed part of my hair met. By using this trategy, I was able to get a nice, gradient ombre hair style.
