This is my first beauty vlog (so excited!) and it's also an entry for the Maybelline NY Next Top Vlogger competition.

This Friday Night Makeup is super simple with minimal products used and no brushes are needed!

Welcome to the little informal space at the end of a description box! I'm all tense and stuff trying to sound professional at the start of the description, but 'down here', I'm gonna type what pops in my head!

As you've read, it's my first beauty video on YouTube and I hope for many to come! I was really excited when Maybelline hosted this competition and it was a great learning experience producing this video. It's one of my dream to be able to work with such an amazing brand and I've always imagined myself waltzing to work in L'Oreal. Ah the dream! I'll try my best.

Back to reality, honestly it wasn't easy shooting, editing and I think the voice over part was way more nerve wrecking than any class presentation I've ever done. I'll practice more tho! At the end of 2 hours, I was at take 130. Yeap.

Shooting was pretty difficult too! I tried filming with natural light but somehow, everything came out blurry and dark. Khatsii (from Khatsii.com, love her) came to the rescue and lent me her light boxes. I'm obsessed with them! I'm never giving them back!

I really do enjoy producing videos and I'm hoping to post more often. This video took almost 16 hours to create and edit (phew!!) but I believe I can cut that time if I practice more.
