█ m a k e u p █

ultimecia has to be one of my MOST favorite boss fights out of the entire final fantasy series. nothing quite made 13 yr old me panic then to realize she could make my KO'd character disappear forever. and by panic, i meant i nerd raged pretty bad lol.

since then i've always wanted to cosplay ultimecia, but never really got an opportunity to. until now!

i made the horns using two foam cones i bought from wal-mart, which i then shaved into two horns. i added paper mache and foam over it, then painted them to mimic ultimecia's hair horns. yes, they're actually hair in the shape of horns, but i didn't really have enough wig hair to actually mimic that.

for the makeup i decided to stick as close to ultimecia's original makeup design as possible. ultimecia's makeup is slightly different in dissidia and i really didn't like how it looked, so i stuck with her original makeup in FF8. i chose to use duraline and eyeshadows to paint on her design since it was the easiest to apply to the skin. i tried using cream makeup for it in a trial run and it just looked bad.
