ABOUT THIS MAKEUP LOOK↓

If anyone has watched Sailor Moon then you're probably familar with Selene ^_^ In Greek Mythology, she is the goddess of the moon. She is best known for falling in love with the mortal Endymion and riding a moon chariot across the sky.

For this mythology makeup look I mainly focused on the description of her from various sources while adding some color and distinctive markings on her. Night elves from WoW may or may have not influenced that...okay, it did, I really miss playing WoW -_-

One way artists have portrayed Selene is by showing she has pale skin and long, black hair which coincidentally I also have so heyyyy :3 She is also described as having a moon crescent on her head, but depending on which text you read, the location of it varies. One description describes it as resting on her brow, so I made a small moon pendant to place on my head. The actual pendant is made out of felt and gold flakes, with Mod Podge brushed over it to seal it.
