The oils are good for your hair, not washing your hair for a couple of days is actually good for your hair. And once you shower after those couple of days, you should shampoo your hair twice.
It could help if you had got a clarifying shampoo as well, my mom hair gets greasy sometimes and when she uses baby shampoo it makes it super soft and feel healthy! I hope I could help! Say hi to your horses for me! Xo

There's no right or wrong amount of times you should wash your hair but twice a day is a bit much. a lot of people actually want/need to wash their hair every day because of a number of reasons.

I have to wash my hair essentially everyday as well because I swim, so I know how you feel. try a clarifying mask and leave in conditioners. I'm not sure if it works for hair, but for oily skin, using oil tricks your skin into not making more oil, so try using Moroccan oil or something in your hair after you shower. also, really good shampoo, and condition every time (I like organix)

Emily I feel as though your comment is a little more hostile then what it needs to be. But with that being said sometimes I shower and wash my hair twice a day because I workout twice a day. so you should be fine with rinsing your hair off then conditioning your ends, rinse and then do a deep treatment. This is what I do and my hair looks fine the next day. or sometimes I will just use conditioner and then the next day do a treatment. If you are looking for a nice cheap deep conditioner then I would advise in looking into L'Oreal, organix, or the aussie 3 minute deep conditioner. then I use argan oil after I wash my hair and it makes my hair feel amazing without leaving it greasy.
