The most effective way to get rid of black heads is to develop a skin care routine containing salicylic acid. Salicylic acid dissolves when it is applied making it the perfect contender to reach under the pores. I would recommend using a daily exfoliator with salicylic acid in the mornings, and a regular cleanser at night. Along with a toner and a moisturizer of course. Daily gentle exfoliation is equivalent if not better than weekly abrasive exfoliation, and will be quicker in the process of removing your black heads. For a quick fix, you can try pore strips. It will not remove all of your blackheads; only newer ones as the older ones lie deeper and are tougher to extract. Extraction tools are also available for purchase at any beauty supply store or drugstore, but I would only recommend using it to extract all of your blackheads, just the older ones as long as you do it properly and gently without causing harm to the skin or pushing the bacteria deeper. After you are rid of your skin problem, stick to oil free formulas to prevent them from coming back, and try a gentle milk cleanser instead to not further irritate the skin.
