Best Indie Brands?

I've heard alot of great things lately about individual production companies but I really don't know much about them. I'd like to try a brand that has a wide variety of products. And I'd prefer a brand that doesn't repackage, but I know that's hard to come by.

The only indie brand I've bought from is Sugarpill. They're known for having really bright and colorful eyeshadows. Unfortunately they don't really have many other products besides for eyes, but I was really happy with what I got and they get great reviews

Got a couple of eyeshadows from Concrete Minerals that I really like. They just make eyeshadow. Have you seen Lime Crime or OCC?

I have to agree Sugarpill, Concrete Minerals, and Saucebox...They are amazing products Sugarpill and Concrete offer loose pigments that have multi uses. Though offered as shadows Ive mixed my pigments with lipgloss for my lips and the lighter colors as a blush or highlight.

@rebecca I have! I really like lime crime. I didn't know they were an indie brand. I want the lip tars but that's about the only thing I would get.

Being an indie brand means that the brand is independently owned. Amber from abitprissy just posted a list of indie companies that have good customer service and quality products. To bad it was a bad experience with one company that brought it about.

I know right! Reading stuff like that makes me physically sick. I'm in a facebook group with ladies that own some of the brands Amber listed and they are great people and good to their customers. I hate that a lot of people probably wont trust indie companies anymore because of what happened with just this one brand.

I just think that shows that you hve to be careful with your money! People trust way too easily these days and then get mad that they got screwed. You just have to be smart!
