My personal favorite eyeliners are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliner Pencils, the Nars Larger than Life eyeliners (twist up pencils), the Nars Eyeliner Stylos (felt tipped), the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (felt tipped), and the Inglot AMC Gel Liner. HOWEVER, I always recommend the use of a primer, because even if you have normal eyelids (not overly oily or dry or anything), a primer will increase the longevity like whoa. Seriously, I have eyeliner on for anywhere from 14-19 hours a day, and with a primer, NOTHING smudges.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet eyeliner pencil. I just got a travel size sample in my ipsy bag this month. It's WONDERFUL. It glides on like butter, and stays put like a Sharpie marker. And it's so pigmented - about as black as black can get. I LOVE IT.

Maybelline eye studia gel liner is affordable and lasts all day without creasing or smudging. I even slept with it on and it stayed perfectly fine, and I don't even use a primer.
