Ok so I've heard that allure magazine gives out nice free samples around the first of each month and was wondering if anyone knows how to go about receiving any. I've gone to the website but didn't see anything about it. I did sign up for their beauty "newsletter", is that how?

I heard it's just giveaways you enter. :) you create an account and there should be a "free stuff" label near the other categories of the page.

Hmm I don't know sabrina, I've wondered that too. I did go to the free stuff tab and didn't see anything but an exotic trip giveaway.

Its a giveaway based on the first 500 or so who submit their deets. I wouldn't hold my breath on it...I've been signing up for those things thru Allure for 10 years...never received a lick of free product. But if you become a Beauty Insider where you do surveys for them you might luck out with sampling full size products. I had far better success with that. Also try Lucky magazine...thru their contest giveaways I've won a full-size lipstick and a leather purse.

There should be an icon on their website and you click on that and it will direct you to another page where it allows you to submit your info.

I filld out my info for their beauty newsletter or whatever. is that the same thing? I can't remember if it said beauty insider or not. I've been wanting to find some companies that do send free beauty samples due to my current almost nonexistent budget right now. plus I live in a very rural area so there really aren't any makeup counters or anything like that to get to try a few new things :( living where I do has pretty much limited me to only be able to buy and try drugstore items. dying to try other things.
