I've been trying to grow my hair long for a such a long time now and nothing seems to work :( I've tried horse shampoo and that didn't help either, it just seems to stop at one length and won't grow past that. Any tips?

Sometimes your hair won't grow after a certain point. have I ever had it longer then it is currently?
I've always had trouble growing it out as I aged but I definatly saw an impovment by using FAST shampoo doing regular deep conditioning treatments, using argan and cocnut oils and taking biotin and hair skin and nail vitamins. some worn against biotin. personally I've never had issues but if your questioning taking it and not sure if you should you can talk to a doc or pharmacist

Hair growth depends on genetics, the health of you & your hair. some people's hair just won't grow long. there are no miracle products or methods. just have to keep it healthy. horse shampoo definitely won't make it grow. just weighs it down with wax & makes it dry & brittle. to keep it healthy try;
getting trims when necessary
not dying your hair
don't brush while wet
drink a lot of water
use hair masks
use deep conditioners & leave in conditioners
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant
coconut oil, olive oil, & castor oil are all good to use

& about biotin, always consult your doctor first. you can make yourself deficient in something else & possibly end up in the hospital.

Hair growth depends on the individual. My hairs grows super fast, where as my moms takes forcer to grow.
Getting it trimmed will help with the process and conditioning it.
Mainly just keep yourself and your hair healthy and give it time. Hair typically grows 1/4" a month I believe, but again that varies. I don't know much about heat and is effect on hair (I use about 450 degrees on my hair, almost daily) or a conditioner that can help (I use nothing special).
Just trim and time is all I can suggest.

1. Please please don't take biotin. You can get really really sick and end up in the hospital
2. Head massages really help
3. Use hair masks
4. That might be the longest your hair can grow. Sorry

Here's some tips I've learned!
- Cut your hair as soon as it starts splitting
- Use a good shampoo & conditioner
- Shampoo 3-4 times a weak for thin hair, 1-3 times for thick
- Use dry shampoo on days in between if it's oily
- Use hair masks & leave in conditioner
- Never brush wet hair
- Use little to no heat (Use a good heat protectant if you must)
- Don't use rubber bands or hair ties with metal ends
- Massage your scalp when you shampoo, it can get rid of gross build-up and help simulate hair growth
- If you don't eat a good diet, take women's multi-vitamins
- Use a boar hair brush rather than one with plastic bristles
- Leaving aloe vera gel in your hair for an hour can help simulate hair growth and keep it in good condition
