My mom took me to the Clinique counter at Bon Marche when I was 13, in anticipation of my finishing 8th grade and starting high school. She bought me my first eye shadow, blush, lipstick, and mascara. It meant so much to me. I remember feeling so special and grown-up when we walked out of the store with my first ever haul. To this day, I have a serious soft spot for Clinique because of that wonderful experience.
