When you do your foundation and powder make sure you do your lips too, put your lips on then blot on a tissue then put a second coat of lipstick on, you can also fill in your lips completely with lipliner and put lipstick on top, hope this helps :-)

I lightly rub my lips after showing with a light, cotton washcloth and use a moisturizing lip scrub before I begin my make up application...leaving lip color for last.
I apply my stain balm or lipstick and then blot on my index finger once. Then I apply liner to shape them and lightly powder just the edges of my lips. Hit my face (lips included) with setting spray.
For dual product lip stains..I line lips first. Thin application is crucial. They are highly pigmented and the liquid stain needs ample drying time prior to applying the balm or gloss that came with it. I blot on my finger and then keep my lips slightly apart for a few minutes. Then, I apply my setting spray...adding the gloss or balm last with no powder. This technique helps me prevent losing color within the center of the lip and permits even wear. Drinking through a straw is easy on lip color. I also touch up lightly after eating...blotting on my (clean) index finger. For 2-step stains, I rarely need color touch ups and simply re-apply the gloss or balm.

I would do what all the other girls have suggested so far, but also have you tried Nyx's xtreme lip creams? I bought one a few months ago and for some reason I hated it so I put it away in a makeup bag and then found it the other day again. Gave it another try and it's wonderful. It goes on like a gloss but looks like lipstick and sort of acts like a stain. I kept it on through dinner and I still had a good amount left. I really like it now and am planning to buy more. They're like $5.99 at Ulta and some other drugstores.

I don't know if they have this in America, but in the UK we have this product called Lipcote which is like a lipstick sealer, and it's really good! My lipstick stays on all day, still as vibrant as when I first put it on :)
