I use primer, good foundation, setting powder, and setting spray and my makeup looks great for a few hours and then bam! Looks like utter crap. My eyeliner smudges and I look like a raccoon and my foundation balls up and makes my skin look greasy and old. Idk what to do. Helpppp😩

I have combination skin; dry cheeks and forehead and oily t-zone. I use a clarisonic at night and exfoliate 2-3 times a week. I also do mud masks every other night. I use a serum at night, and I use the body shop aloe moisturizer. My foundation routine is as follows;
-start with a clean face, and moisturize
-smashbox hydrating primer
-tarte amazonian clay full coverage foundation
-tarte smooth operator finishing powder
-urban decay all nighter spray
As for eye primer, I use UDPP and my eye makeup looks like crap at the end of the night so I obviously need something new lol

I know this sounds crazy but my mom taught me this when I was little. Use your primer, face makeup, then setting spray and then immediately put your face in the freezer for 60 seconds. (I know it sounds insane) but seriously it works!! Good luck!

Before you moisturizer us e an ice cube and rub it on your face until it dissolves then apply your moisturizer and primer and then apply your makeup it will last you longer! It works for me when I want my makeup to stay! Try it.

Does your primer and foundation have the same base? If one is silicone based and the other is water based, it'll all fall apart.

Thank you so much everybody. I will be trying all of these tips and definitely changing my primers. I already have an hourglass primer, I just stopped using it before because I felt like it was making my face too dry, but I will give it a chance again.
