Why is it bad to shampoo your whole head? From the roots to the tips. This is one of those things I just found out like a month when I've been doing the opposite my whole life.(I have very healthy strong hair). Just wondering why it's bad,

The shampoo will dry out the ends of your hair but not the roots because the oils of your skin moisturize the roots :)

Just washing your scalp will be enough because when you rinse it out the suds travel down the rest of your hair and gently clean it.

I break the rules though when it comes to conditioner on the top of my head. If I don't my hair is impossible to comb and gets frizzy later on.

I shampoo and condition my entire head without issue, but then again I only shampoo once a week.

Everyone's hair is different. I'm naturally curly and shampoo an condition my whole head because I exercise a lot and end up being gross and sweaty and don't want my hair to stay that way so I shampoo twice a week and condition every day
