I went to a Mac counter and wanted to get matched for their face and body foundation. I usually wear nc 30 but in face and body was matched to c3. I felt like this did not march me once I got home and looked to dark and orangey. My question is what is the difference between c3 & n3? I know it is undertone but which one is which.

I think NC is 'neutral cool' and C is just 'cool', NW is 'nuetral warm' and N is 'nuetral. I'm an NC44 in mac and a C6 in face and body. I would reccomend you try a shade or 2 lighter (C1/C2).

Nc = not cool and NW = not warm. I think MAC does it backwards.
