I need some websites that give free samples of good makeup and beauty products. I prefer that they come by mail. Anyone know of some?

I can't think of anywhere reliable tbh! TheBodyNeeds2 sells MAC samples and Sephora / Ulta give them out with purchases. Also on freestuff.com or whatever it's called they have skin care samples and stuff sometimes.

I have a list of websites at my house, but I will not be able to post them until tomorrow. Sorry about that. I will post them as soon as I can!

I only know of places who only give samples with purchase due to shipping cost. Your best bet is to contact department store counters. Though they can be a lil stingy at times so you have to pore on the sweet touch. I've requested deluxe size samples from Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys (before I boycotted them for profiling at their NYC store) and Bergdorf Goodman. When Sunday Riley was first released at Barneys a few years ago I sent a short email to the store email address requesting samples and stating that before I purchase full size I wanted to know how my skin would react. An SA from the counter actually emailed me back and asked me about my current skincare and a week later I had about two weeks of generous size samples of their skincare line. I ended up buying a few full-size items from that SA in particular and after that she would send my stuff without even requesting it. The higher end stores are more opt to do that but its really a hit/miss depending on who is on the receiving end of the request. Just don't abuse it because they do keep track.

So I emailed each of these companies asking if they give out free samples, because I would like to try their products before purchasing anything. and they all sent me free samples free of charge and no shipping costs;
Jane Iredale
Ren
Mario Badescu
Murad
Dermorganic
L'occitane
Dr. Hauschka
vbeaute
I have purchased from almost all of these companies because of their samples.

Omg thanks for sharing Stephanie! Gonna definently check those out. Besides the Mario one how do I go about getting samples from the others. I've also heard about allure giving good samples around the first of every month but I don't know how to get them.

You are welcome Rachel. If you just email each company they will ask you to either fill out a skincare survey or they will ask what products you would like to have a sample of. Then you just give them your address and they will ship it to you! But I'm not sure about receiveing the allure samples. I'm sure you could contact customer service via email and ask them about the free samples that they send out!
