Hi beautylish, I'm looking for a nice scrub to exfoliate my body after waxing, previously using a DIY scrub but it doesn't seem effective anymore, any recommendations?? Something that's not harsh.

I personally use Lush's Ocean Salt scrub to exfoliate after I wax/shave, but it might be too harsh for you because it's sea salt? Anyway I also found this, which might be helpful: http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/_mobile/beauty-hair/10-of-the-best-body-scrubs-88973.

Avoid exfoliating after waxing. waxing removes the zeal cells along with your hair. Instead you could try a soothing lotion like calamine. you could try exfoliating after a couple of days.

I agree with Drishya. Exfoliating will only cause more irritation and inflammation to the area. Try using a good moisturizer instead like Cocoa butter ;)

You should exfoliate before you wax and moisturize after you wax

But good exfoliator a are the tree hut sugar scrubs I love them and the sugar is gentle because it melts at body temp.

Yes I agree, you should be exfoliating before waxing, not after. You want to remove dead skin cells before waxing. Apply a moisturizer after you wax. I make my own homemade moisturizer out of shea butter, coconut oil, and vitamin e oil.

I normally use an exfoliating pair of gloves in the shower with some sweet almond oil! It works really well for me!
