Do you tightline by applying the product to your upper waterline? or do you do it by applying product as closely to your lashes as possible on your lid? I personally use the latter method, and I like to use felt-tipped eyeliners, because you can stamp the sides of them against your lashes and deposit color that way. Does that make sense? I prefer to use the Hourglass Script Precision Liner in Jett, the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, the Nars Eyeliner Stylo, and the Tokidoki felt tipped liner.

Yeah, I have a problem with tightlining too. When I just want my top tightline lined, it always goes down to the bottom. First World Problems.

I've been using urban decays 27 hr liner pencil (ipsy bag) and it's amazing. It does not make my eyes run at all. I even set it with a black matte eyeshadow and it's good to go all day.

You could use a kohl, smudge it on top, squeeze your kids tightly and let it's blot itself a little, the rub off when got on the bottom, or just smudge a white one over it.

I do this everyday and I love the Milani Liquifeye pencil liner. It's soft and glides right on but lasts. The Urban Decay liners are awesome for that purpose too.
Make Up For Ever liners don't smudge either :)
