Try looking at CuteGirlsHairstyles (either on their website or on YouTube), they have tons of braids and other tutorials. I'm sure you'll find something similar, if not that exact style. :D.

Ok ill try to explain it but its going to be hard lol
So section off the pony tail piece on the crown of your head where you want the pony tail in the picture and tie it with an elastic band (this will be your pony tail part)
Also make sure that there is an even amount of hair left out all around your head and that there is about and inch to two inches of a gap between where your pony tail hair starts sand the edge of the hair
All the extra hair that will be all around your head will be the braided part
So you do a French braid along to top far side of your head only taking peices from the front were your face is and you do this all the way around your head even the back you may need some one to help and then when you come to the place you started stop French braiding but with the extra hair just do a normal braid and tie it off with a small elastic ( the clear ones are the best)
Them wrap that around the front of your head along the already braided part then pin it so it is kind of invisible
Hope this helps its kinda hard to explain you could probably youtube sports hair styles and I thing this would come up
