I've done that too!! I have naturally blonde hair and at the time I had brown dye over it, so I could see the blonde in the middle of the strand and the brown on the sides. It was really cool to look at.

Is that a compound microscope? The one we usually use in Bio lab or in other labs? If it is then I should try one :P
