Hey guys so I really want to dye my hair with kool aide and I have some questions. Is it permanent? How do you do it? If I dyed it pink would it work on my darkish hair without bleaching it? If I dye it red should I wash out the remains of my (almost completely faded) red hair dye? And does it have to be kool aid (can it be something else like crystal light?)? Sorry there are a lot... Thanks!

It is permanent, you boil kool aid, let it cool & dip your hair, it wouldn't work on darkish hair, it has too be light, especially if you're trying to dye it pink, it would probably remain a faded red, & I don't think it really matters what type of kool aid it is :)

Hi Lexi, just a reminder that threads like this would belong in the "Hair" section, not the "Beauty" section. It will be moved this time, but please remember that in the future, as incorrectly categorized threads are subject to deletion.

It's not permanent we'll from my expeirence it faded out after a few washes and I'm not sure about crystal light but you can try it seems like it would work. If you have dark hair you have to bleach it first it only works on light hair there's a few different ways of doing this you can boil it or use the conditioner way hope this helped!
