In order to get the ash tones out of your hair, you should buy a warm/gold/red based color to go overtop of the ash. Or buy toning shampoo. Look up some gold based shampoos! Good luck! :) xx

If I use a 8g loreal golden blonde will it work? Or should I go more red?

Depends on what shade you'd prefer. If you want a hint of red, do red, but I think the gol would be best if going to an 8. The red tones will make your hair appear darker... Gold shouldn't make much of a difference except to eliminate ash/greens. (also, good job picking loreal!! The best :))

The other problem is its a bit blotchy. I hope that it will look like low and high lights after I put the dye in but I'm not sure. I think ill do the golden blonde then in a few weeks bleach highlights in my hair

Find a mocha and use a color wheel. (Red contrasts green, blue contrasts orange and purple contrasts yellow.) to get rid of green you will need a red tinted color.

Quick fix is camomile tea to correct ash hair tones! Cheap and won't damage hair! I have been a color tech and correction specialist for 9 years! So if u have no money try this!

Colour strippers like colour oops don't work on bleached hair, I'd go a little darker just to even out the hair and lighten it gradually over time.

Washed my hair with the tea and aslo tried ketchup? It got most of it out! 8g dye is in and I can see the red undertone well and sure I got over all the ugly. Thanks guys. (:
