My straightener brand is called "HAI elite" & I have had it for 5 years and it still, works as if it was brand new. It was less than $200 & it's the best tool I have ever used. you can also use it to make gorgeous curls. And the curls last until your next shower. My hair is thick and coarse. Another great feature is you can raise or lower the heat in small increments. The one I have is the model with the thin hot plates

Hi! I really love the Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Ion Smooth flat iron in a 1.25"! It's a great tool that heats up to 400 degrees in 30 seconds- a minute and works great!

Cloud Nine! My hairstylist told me about these - they're made by the people who started the ghd company. I haven't bought mine yet (hoping to get it for Christmas, haha!) but I always make my hairstylist use it on me and its amazing! or if you want a cheaper option, Chi is amazing for the price you pay.

Go for a ghd, mine costed me about $150 and it is worry each and every cent. it won't burn your hair nor cut it, you can use it to straighten or curl and they heat up within a minute-good for quick retouches

I'd stick with the ghd,it's a trusted brand and my sister has had hers for 2 years with no problems and also doesn't pull on your hair 👧

Depends on what you want to spend and what type of hair you have. I would suggest Sedu or GHD if you have the money. CHI is a good one if you are looking for a budget friendly one.

I have my Remington one 5 years now, and it is even BETTER than a GHD! It keeps my curly hair straight all day, and leaves it smooth and straight without making it dry :D
