Lol, yes it's not pleasant!
but in the end, it's always worth the pain, whether it be a new tattoo or soft, smooth skin c: at least I think so, heheh.

I like getting my eyebrows waxed, but oh my god getting my legs and arms waxed was horrible I screamed every time they pulled the strip. Would rather get tattooed than do body waxing!!

I regularly get a Brazilian done, and granted it was really painful the first time and the few times after that but now that it's been about 3 years now it's gotten better.

@kiran it was my first time and I was stupid I got it the day we left.

The red bumps should subside in hours. If you, for good measure, massage an after shave gel into your legs (or anywhere else you got the hair removed). Men's formulas are more sensitive so I use Gillette's after shave gel moisturizer for sensitive skin :)

I'm to much of a baby to get anything waxed but in class I do eyebrows and lips and I have no idea how people can handle it because testing the wax on my arm is enough pain for me.

Not to me. it's just a brief sting for but a moment and *poof*. For a man? I'm guessing that would be a much different experience!

The lip is absolutely awful...I can't imagine anything else! I like getting my eyebrows waxed, too! I think the hot wax is almost...soothing? lol.

Lool it's really not that bad...maybe you went to someone who just didn't know what they were doing. Before I ever started lasering..I would sometimes wax my own armpits and didn't have a problem with it my mom thought I was crazy

I agree with Rozberry, for a guy it is a much different experience because of the thickness and amount if hair. You might have redness and little dots of redness in places, its natural. They will all subside within a few hours, for a first time the salons usually apply a local anaesthetic after waxing, I am wondering why your salon didn't. The one I go to, applies the Xylocaine especially on male clients. And now that you've had the wax performed, you can safely take your Advil. And use ice cubes in a soft cloth to pat on your skin, it will remove the red dots quickly.

Also remember not to exfoliate for atleast 72 hours!
