Moisturizing! And wearing gloves so your hands won't crack and dry in cold weather.

Moisturize for sure :) If you have tough calluses you can very carefully and slowly file them down to make them thinner and less hard.

My favorite is to take about a tablespoon of brown sugar (or sand), add a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a teaspoon or two of sweet almond oil (jojoba, olive, and grape seed oils work too) and mix it all together. Than massage your hands with it everyday for a minute and rinse it off with warm water :) Then everyone will want to hold your hand!

I always put hand lotion. And I don't use sanitizers frequently as it dries out the skin. I prefer to wash my hands if possible.

There is lotion called Amlactin. It contains alpha hydroxy acids which will help with rough skin. But on at night with cotton gloves. You can find it at any drugstore. Its a little pricier than the usual lotions you'll find at the drugstore, so I would only use it on your problem areas like hands, feet, elbows & knees. A pharmacist recommended it to me a few years ago.
