Tuck your jeans in, and wear a long sleeved t shirt, I have boots like that without a heel and I wear them pretty simply. I suppose you could always go very steampunk with them, though that's not for everyone. I prefer to wear mine with brightly colored or printed jeans and a plain t shirt.

Very cute! I'd wear them with a skirt, but you can do jeans very easily, just make sure they're skinny and dark, a denim vest or cardigan, plain shirt, keep the color palette simple and wear some kickass jewelery and cold weather accessories.
