What is the difference between a foundation and a bb cream? And the difference between bronzer and a shadow contour?

A foundation is meant to cover some imperfections and a bb cream is just a moisturizer with color a bronzer is meant to add warmth to the face and a contouring product is a product that has a grey tint to it to mimic shadow.

A foundation usually gives more coverage where a bb cream is sheer and more like a tinted moisturizer. A bronzer is warm and orange toned which is not what you want when creating a shadow. You use bronzer for warming up the face. Contour is to create the natural shadows in the face which are cool toned which is where contour powders come in.
