I have noticed within the past week that at the end of the day, my foundation is darker than when I put it on! I use Revlon Colorstay. It's like it has a orangey tint to it. What does this mean and how can I stop it?
Does anyone know of any foundation for oily skin that doesn't do this?

Do you use a primer? Also what causes foundation to oxidise might be a combination of various factors including PH of skin (how acidic it is), humidity, skin temperature and oiliness of the skin. I personally love MUFE matte velvet+!

I do. I use Smashbox Photo Finish for oily skin

Hmm then maybe it's one of the factors I've listed that is causing this. Do you use a toner?

Ehhh not really. I use Seabreeze astringent for my acne whenever I see the bottle (which isn't much) lol that's as close as I have to toner. Maybe it's the weather changing. I'm in Michigan and it's just starting to stay in the 40s and 50s. We had a HORRIBLE long winter.

Apply your foundation and wait for 5 minutes. Once its properly set, use a blotting sheet and blot your face. That will get rid of all the oils in your face the foundation is reacting to without removing the foubdation. This will make your makeup last much longer without darkening. Try this!! :)?

A good toner helps maintain your skin's PH. Your foundation sounds like it's oxidizing. :/
