Hi Lovelies,
The title says it all really. I have dry legs and have tried a lot of different body lotions specifically for dry skin but doesn't seem to work very well. Any suggestions of body lotions? :) x

I use Coconut Oil on mine. Great for shaving too. I also love C. Boothe's Vanilla Lotion. Ulta has it.

Try creams instead of lotions.

Have you tried dry brushing? It's really good for you, just use a natural bristles brush and stroke towards your heart. After you bathe try using some coconut oil while your skin is still moist then put some tights on. That should help a lot.

1) Exfoliate your legs with a damp towel or exfoliating cloth in a hot shower
2) cleanse your legs with oil its called oil cleansing that many people with dry skin do to moisturize while oil pulling the skin as well as treating acne. Anyways, you can use coconut oil, olive oil, baby oil jojoba oil.
3) Rinse off lightly with warm water. Some of the oil will still be left after washing but that is the purpose of this oil cleansing.
4) After gettin out of the shower, pat your legs with a dry towel to get rid of the water that separated from the oil.
5) Apply a thick cream or a thick layer of vitamin e or glycerin seal in the moisture

Use a good moisturizing body wash as well, I find bar soaps dry me out unless it olay. (For lotion I like curel & yes to carrots body butter.)

Well, the best thing to so for anything that's dry is to moisturize.
I use an Aveeno moisturizer for extremely dry skin twice a day, & also moisturize immediately after showers.

I have the PERFECT thing. I tried it today. I made my own sugar scrub! My legs are so soft literally they feel like a baby I'm not even kidding. Here's the recipe I used: http://www.pauladeen.com/recipes/recipe_view/corries_brown_sugar_body_scrub
Oddly enough I took it off with a razor and washed it off! It's the BEST. Definitely try it. It'll have your legs super soft in like 1 minute of exfoliating.

I use my own scrub made of brown sugar, coffee grounds, and olive oil. Seriously makes my legs so soft and smooth and I use cocoa butter after I shower.
