I get these painful cysts on my face when I use the wrong makeup or right before my period. I've been told they are hormonal. Does anybody know how to prevent these? Also, is there anything I can do to make the ones I have go away faster? Gahh its like I have a huge pepperoni on my face and its painful and I'm really super irritated that I have it 😡 I bought a clarisonic and use good skincare and good makeup, and I'm stilllll having these.

Rasberry extract balances hormones as well :) For a not so natural method, the birth control pill helps. As for taking care of cystic acne I have some good news for you ;) there's a way to bring a nodule to a head (bring it to the surface, make it less painful)
Take about a cup of warm water and add about 2 - 5 tablespoons of salt (its best to use iodized or charcoal salt) and stir until dissolved. Now count the number of nodules you have. For the sake of this example let's say you have 3, ok? :) take out 4 cotton balls. Dip your first cotton ball in the solution until soaked and pat it all over your face. while you're patting the cotton ball over your face, soak the other three in the salt water. when you come across a zit, just hold the cotton ball on it for a few seconds longer and pat. Do this you feel satisfied that your face is nice and covered up. now take your second cotton ball and squeeze out the excess water. Place it on top of your nodule and secure with a bandaid. repeat this for the rest of your cystic nodules until they're all bandaided and cottoned up. Keep it all night :) the iodine (or charcoal) in the salt add to the already antiseptic properties of salt :) this helps disinfect and bring the pus out from under your skin. A saline, or salt water solution, is also a natural antiseptic that numbs the pain. I really hope this helps, its my go to method now and I no longer have nodules for more than a day now :)
