Is it safe to use a purple shampoo and conditioner everyday? I'm used to washing my hair everyday maybe 6days a week. I am getting my hair done in a week blonde hi lites and I'm trying to figure out what hair products to get to keep up the maintenance and keep the color and not let the blonde get brassy or yellow.

Depends on the shampoo, and how much violet pigment is in it. I use pureology perfect for platinum and it's great! Some cheaper shampoos light shimmer lights from Sally's are harsh and can stain very blonde hair lavender tone.

I use a different type from John Frieda and I can use it everyday it isn't very potent. I also have shimmer lights that I use once a week because it's much stronger I prefer using regular shampoo and shimmer lights once or twice a week

I use my purple shampoo every other time I wash my hair, the other time I use a normal moisturizing shampoo - I only use the purple shampoo every other time because otherwise my ends tends to get a bit purple :) Hope this helps :)
