Try the LOC method. Leave in conditioner, oil, then a cream based moisturizer. But I don't know how thick your hair is so this may be to heavy for your hair. But you may need to use a good hair lotion or cream (I use are she's butter) if the lotion isn't working and then apply an oil like coconut or olive oil. Oils are NOT moisturizers but are sealants. If you put an oil in our hair after you moisturize your hair will remain moisturized much longer.
