Try to pick up very little on your brush. Dip your brush in the pomade lightly, do not drag it against the product. I like to start my application on the lower brow in the center so if there is too much on the brush, it goes there 1st as opposed to the inner or outer brow, where too much product looks worse. When actually "filling" in the body of the brows, I will alternate turning the brush during application. I'll start with just the pointy end of the brush, then switch to the flat angled part, adjusting to the shape of my brow. I always use the pointy end when working on the inner & outer brow for better control & lessen the risk of applying too much. I also use th pointy end when working on the top line of the brow so it looks more natural. I find using the flat angled side produces such a distinct fake looking line, like I taped on my brows.
