Like your fish, maybe make it look more real? I know thats hard because your doing it on nail. And your star fish, maybe try using a super small brush to get less rounded tips. Also not a fix but an idea, try playing with texture, like make your sand feel like sand!

I would have blended the blue to a reverse ombré effect and used a sponge then did the sand over top, but either way it's super cute and I love the idea! Let us know how you do in the contest and good luck :)
