Titanium & ceramic are both good. But why a lot of companies are switching to titanium is bc when ceramic heats up it doesn't always heat evenly across the whole plate & titanium does.
I've had a Babyliss nano titanium flatiron for 9yrs and it's still going strong. That's what I would suggest as a hairstylist.
