I don't know a lot about brush prices, but I know angled liner brushes or detailing brushes (I think they're called?) are good for gel liner c:

I just got and have been loving the real techniques silicon liner brush. There's no bristles, it's just a little silicone tip and it works great. I always had a problem with the bristles on their fine liner brush splaying out and looking messy. The silicon one applies very smoothly and its great for both thin and thick lines. I think it's around $5 or $6, I can't remember. I know its no more than $9 though. I got mine online from Ulta. If you're interested in getting more brushes, keep an eye out, Ulta sometimes has them buy one get one 50% off. And check their latest ad (you can find it on their site as a digital catalog) because they usually have a coupon for $3.50 off any order of $10 or more. It doesn't seem like much but it helps save you a couple bucks since you usually have to pay shipping.
