When I went to my formal (what us Aussies call it) my partner didn't match me, I wore a white and maroon dress and he just wore a nice black suit :) so I think what he's wearing will be fine with your dress, especially with the silver bow :)

I don't see not matching as a real problem but then again I have no spirt when it comes to these events, but I honestly think you will be fine. And his bow tie should match well.

I also don't think it's much of a problem that you don't match each other and unless one of you is willing to buy a complete new outfit just to match, I guess there isnt much you can do.
The colours don't clash that bad anyway, it could be way worse!

Personally I don't like to match my date lol. But it should look fine, he's wearing a neutral colour palette which will match anything. If you're worried try swapping the bowtie to match the "blush" colour in your dress.
