Is hydrocortisone the same thing as cortisone?

If you don't have cortisone prescribed specifically for you face then there should be absolutely no reason to use it unless you want some pretty nasty results and thinned out skin. The effect it has is the just reducing swelling and redness which can be done thorough safer means like Neosporin.
