Yes, it can clog pores. No, that does not mean it will not work for you. Everyone is different. It is best to test a patch of skin to best determine what works for you. Skin is obviously a very personal thing.

Wow. All the bad, I must have gotten lucky.
It worked for me. My face became less oily & it made my face feel so soft & moisturized. I used it on my cysts & it didn't make them worse at all. It has helped with the scars & I love it.
I stopped using it cuz my face cleared & I've recently started getting a few cysts here & there. I'm just taking a zinc supplement and using asepxia soap I ordered from amazing. It's helping. I like it. But what helped clear me real good was using Burt's bees for sensitive skin facial cleanser. It's soap free, not harsh at all. I'd use that then put the coconut oil on & massage it into my face for like 3-5 minutes softly then rinse with cold water.

Coconut Oil also has antibacterial properties. Everyone should take advice to heart, but not as gospel...and please.. test patch. I feel so badly for the ladies I've seen hurt by a remedy that may have worked for another poster. :(

When it comes to skin care all depends on the user and skin type! What works for me may not work for you :) Coconut oil for acne has become increasingly popular due to its antimicrobial properties! http://antiskinproblems.com/wonders-of-coconut-oil-for-acne/
