Hey Universe my birthday is on Saturday and I am asking for long-awaited permission to get a piercing, either nose or navel. (FYI in AK I can legally get one without an adult on my birthday when I will be 16 but it's not worth getting in SERIOUS trouble) My question is, do you like the look of a nose ring on me? I made this as a tester with jewelry wire twisted tight enough to not fall off. I'd get a delicate gold ring but the overall look would be the same...thoughts? Good or bad? Also, ANY tips or past experiences regarding nose or navel piercings would be greatly appreciated :-)

The nose is soooo pretty, you should get it! I have my nose pierced since I was 16 too :) and your eyes water lots when you get it pierced, but it's not painful. But you have to be really careful cleaning it.
