Try coastal scents brushes, I bought the 22 piece set over 2 years and they're still in good shape. They're usually on sale too. They're fantastic beginner brushes :)

Honestly I have all these brushes in my kit but I grab my sigma ones more. Sigma brushes are less expensive but same quality of mac.

I adore the Sonia Kashuk brushes as well! They are inexspensive but great quality for a drugstore brand. I love them for their eye brushes. For face, I recommend taking the $24 plunge and buying the Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush. This will make your foundation flawless and buff it in like no other. I think it is better quality than Mac. It gets the job done quickly, easily, and seamlessly. Good luck 💘
