Does demi permanent fade on dark hair?

I dyed my hair with a demi permanent hair dye a couple of days ago. I didn't really like the result. I read that it still stains light hair but will it completely fade on dark hair? my hair has a natural reddish tone to it and now it just looks dark brown.

What color dye did you use and what's yoyr natural hair?
I doupt it will ever fade completely depending on what you used. sorry

I used a dark brown dye with reddish hues but the brown overpowered the red. It was a demi permanent dye. my natural hair is also dark brown but with a different undertone.

My natural color has copper tones to it. This one is just a dark brown with no red but it was supposed to have cranberry red tint.

Sorry I don't belive it will ever fade completely from your hair, but hopefully someone who knows more will add their imput.

Really? But its not a permanent dye.
