@tayah there is a smaller matte version of the naked palette on their website..its only 27 dollars! :) you could also get the midnight emergency kit which very pretty. its on sale for 22 bucks! the most that i have spent on makeup? like around fifty dollars...but i have a goal with my mom that if i lose a little weight, she will give me 200 dollars for sephora and the mac store :)

I spent 59 on my vice palette from urban decay. I absolutely love it. It was my most expensive single item, but I spend a lot on make up. over 600 at sephora I'm sure and I've spent quite a not on sugar pill too. :)

My aunt used to take me out and we would easily spend $500 lol. But we bought a variety of things. She got stuff, I got stuff, and we would almost always pick up some things for my sister if she wasn't with us. This only happened once every few years, usually in spring or fall when we would update our looks for the coming season. That's how my makeup collection really got started. I'm grateful to have a family member who is so generous :)
Personally I would say the most I've ever spent at one time is $100. Usually when I need to replenish multiple things at once.

I once spent close to $500, I had a long list of stuff I had been saving up for. Work your way up to more expensive makeup, don't splurge at once unless you know what you need/want to get.
