So yesterday I dyed my hair (box dye been doing it for years!) and was wondering if it would be bad if I did a hair mask today. Would it ruin my color? This is the mask. It's a keratin protein strengthening mask. Any help appreciated!! Thanks!

I wouldn't because the mask penetrates the hair and could break up the dye and make it bleed out a little bit. If you only use it for like 2-3 minutes it should be fine though.

I'm not quite sure what brand. But I know they have some for color treated hair. Perhaps you can try that ;-).

I usually do a hair mask right after I dye my hair and have never had a problem with fading.
